In our Anzacs lying still and silent in far off graves of Gallipoli we see again the immortal Leonidas and his companions – the heroic three hundred of Thermopylae – upon whose place of burial was inscribed:
“O Strangers, as you pass Sparta say that we lie here having done our duty in obedience to the laws of our country.”’
