<ptr target="ukred-29057">My dearest Rosie....I am so glad you told me of Dr. Bright – The dear staunch simple Positivist. Do I not know them? Surely they sweep God’s path clear more clearly…than they who burn for a doctrine….it is paradoxical but nothing gives me more confidence in a providence & a future than the positivist movement. Every era seems to bring a wave of religious thought over the world, which retiring, leaves a deposit which brings forth good fruit. It seems now that the text is being fulfilled – “It is expedient for you that I go away -for if I go not away the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you”..."</ptr>
